Cupcake-ing: 1. The act and art of seeking out and procuring cupcakes. 2. Setting out with the intended purpose for travelling and trying several cupcakeries at a time. Ex: "Let's go cupcake-ing this weekend."
Cupcakery: A bakery that primarily specializes in cupcakes. Ex: "The cupcakery made a special cherry compote cupcake for my wedding."
Cupcake Abuse: 1. The act of misappropriating or abnormally using cupcakes outside of their intended purpose. 2. Cupcakes that are over elaborate, constitute unusual and often unpleasant flavors or combine ingredient that are uncommon. Ex: "I really like bacon cupcakes however bacon cupcakes with a beer and cheese frosting is cupcake abuse."
Cupcake Lovers: 1. A person or people, who are completely and madly in love with cupcakes. 2. A subscriber or social media follower of The Cupcake Critic. Ex: "As a true Cupcake Lover, I have no problems eating a maple bacon cupcake for breakfast".
Cupcake Loving Community: A collection of Cupcake Lovers who help shape the language, belief systems, and culture of cupcakes. Ex: "There's a great debate in the cupcake-loving community of whether cupcakes should be served with or without alcohol in them."
Cupcake Row: The strip along M Street in Georgetown whereby Georgetown Cupcake, Sprinkles and Baked and Wired both intersect and serve.
